Who should attend this workshop series?
This series has been designed primarily for Creatives and PR folks who’ve are responsible for coming up with ideas for Digital PR activity (i.e. ideas generated with the express purpose of gaining linked coverage on high-tier media sites).
Please note: the focus here is on ideation, not outreach. If you’re keen to learn how to create more compelling email subject lines, press releases, etc, this course isn’t for you; however, in the future I may run a course like this.
Also, folks who work primarily on other types of SEO link building activity – i.e. where journalists from media outlets aren’t their target audience probably won’t get so much out of the course.

Testimonials
Here are some lovely things people who’ve previously attended my courses have said:
I honestly don’t think I’ve ever taken so many notes on a course before! Everything covered was super relevant to my role and I really appreciated you providing context for both agency and client side – as my role is client side, I was a little concerned it might not be so relevant. But it was!
The session even inspired me to go and generate a load of ideas that evening – the best of which I’ve taken to our MD and we’re running with one already. So thank you!
~Sarah Marsh, Adimo
You were excellent. Knowledgable and engaging, you really brought the course to life and kept everyone’s attention in the room. I’m not usually one to ask questions in these environments but the atmosphere was very open and that allowed me to put a question to you, which you answered very comprehensively.
~Joe Cox, Superb Digital
“I just wanted to say a big thank you for hosting a fantastic training session last week at BrightonSEO. I was able to learn so much and you also helped me boot out some of the imposter syndrome I think a lot of us PRs face.”
~Andy Clowes, Distract
FAQ
Is this course just about coming up with ideas for high budget content pieces?
Is this course just about coming up with ideas for high budget content pieces?
No, not at all. I’ve experience working on both content-led Digital PR (some were big budget some definitely weren’t); and reactive Digital PR activity; the creative processes I’ll be sharing can be utilised to generate ideas suitable for any budget.
Will you be covering anything to do with outreach to journalists – e.g. writing press releases?

No, sorry. This workshop series focuses only on coming up with ideas. However, I may run a course focusing on outreach at a later date.
